THE DRAGON OF FAERY
A Young Adult Fantasy Series by
JAY D. PEARSON
BIO
Jay D. Pearson was born in Seattle, Washington to Scandinavian parents who helped him develop an early passion for reading, especially all things magical and fantastic. Early favorites included C.S. Lewis' Narnia Chronicles and Ruth Stiles Garnett's My Father's Dragon series. After reading J.R.R. Tolkien's Lord of the Rings as a young teen, he grabbed his pen and began writing fantasy fiction. Jay has published poetry and magazine articles, but The Dragon of Faery is his first published book series.
When he's not writing, Jay is swimming competitively or coaching swimming. He still lives in the Puget Sound region with his wife, son, and two cats. Look for the third book in his series, Bones of the Dragon, in 2021.
Other favorite young adult fantasy series include Eoin Colfer's Artemis Fowl, J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter, and Ranger's Apprentice by John F. Flanagan.

“The thought God put into creating each unique and beautiful person spurs me onward to create visual depictions of similarities and differences in the world around us, hoping to provide a space in which people can find peace and rest.”
