There are so many times when my fingers seem to type of their own accord, as if the story I'm trying to tell has a mind of its own.
Today, Aileen (one of the main characters of my books) made an unexpected proclamation and magic happened! I had no idea it was coming. I think I was just as shocked as the other characters who are traveling with her.
The timing is perfect, as I've just begun Book 3's climax, and her action is the exact spark the story needs at this point.
This is possibly the most wonderous part of writing stories: the unexpected writing by the story itself!
Now I really can't wait to find out how Book 3 concludes!!
